Rhythms of Legacy proudly stands as the newest calypso tent in Barbados, set to make its mark during the exciting Crop Over Season 2026. This initiative not just about putting on a show; it aims to establish itself as a vital institution dedicated to the growth and development of young artists and musicians in the calypso genre.
Through a comprehensive approach that includes mentorship and training, Rhythms of Legacy will create an inclusive and unbiased performance platform. This will empower aspiring vocalists who, in the past, have faced challenges with availability of platforms.
By doing so, Rhythms of Legacy hopes to inspire and uplift the next generation of talent in this vibrant musical tradition.

Our mission is to nurture young talent, preserve the rich heritage of calypso music, and create meaningful opportunities for communities to engage with while celebrating Barbados’ vibrant musical traditions. We aim to foster an environment where creativity thrives and cultural appreciation flourishes, ensuring that the legacy of calypso is passed down to future generations.
Through our initiatives, we seek to empower individuals and strengthen bonds, promoting a deeper understanding and enjoyment of our musical heritage.
